आज मैं एक पत्रकार की हैसियत से उत्तर प्रदेश के CM योगी आदित्यनाथ जी की मुजफ्फरनगर में जनसभा को कवर करने के लिए बहुत दूर से पहुंचा था, लेकिन मुझे पुलिस ने ग्राउंड के मुख्य द्वार पर ही रोक दिया क्योंकि मैंने काली शर्ट पहनी थी और पुलिस के मुताबिक़ जनसभा में काला कपड़ा ले जाने, पहनकर आने की अनुमति नहीं, दूर से आने वाली उन महिलाओं और छात्र- छात्राओं को भी रोका गया जिनके सिर या गले में काला दुपट्टा था या लॉ के छात्रों के पास ब्लैक कोट या बंडी थी। मैं असमंजस में हूँ कि काला कपड़ा, दुपट्टा, शर्ट, टी शर्ट की आखिर इस जनसभा में अनुमति क्यों नहीं थी और अन्य रंगों की ही अनुमति क्यों थी?
