I'm pleased that we cleared a major hurdle yesterday as we move towards our goal of taking ownership of this wonderful club by the end of the season. I'm grateful to the EFL and the administrators for such productive conversations this last week. That’s a good constructive comment Players of today?
I’ve not known season like it, basically kids from late teens 2mid 20’s, do not prioritise football now. Not all of course, but majority. So many away on wkend trips etc or don’t want 2travel!

Unfortunately the ambition of players these days is not what it once was gone are the days of players wanting to play as high as they can and in are the days where players want to play as close to their doorstep as possible grassroots/non league football has been in decline for years and whilst I sympathise with the clubs plight the more you regionalise the football pyramid the more you dilute the standard you only need to look at standard of SWPL these days to see that the best of Devon vs the best of Cornwall was a brilliant standard of football sadly those days are no longer here. It’s a real shame to see any clubs struggling especially one I have very fond memories off and hope to see it back challenging at the right end of the table soon

@Goal_Mass Cornwall should have more players becoming professional, but it doesn't for some reason. There are good coaches, good players and good clubs with the setup but somewhere the pathway becomes blocked.

@Goal_Mass I can only talk about the clubs i have been involved in, clubs that have 3 or 4 teams are not clubs they are teams under the same umbrella and player deserving of the opportunity to be given the chance to step up are over looked. They aren't picked or asked when they are in good

@Goal_Mass Form but when the team above is desperate. This knocks the young players belief and willingness to take that step. I know players that prefer to play 90 minutes in a losing team than sit on the bench and stunt there own development.
