Yep it’s a weak penalty.. yet people refuse to acknowledge that it’s a 1st and 10 scramble, already picked up 4 yds, already in scoring position with the lead, still 3rd quarter.. hardly game changing and soft calls happen every week but the chiefs need the refs to win games 😑

Spoke to a few NFL refs this morning and a couple that are retired:
1) “The official on the left hash behind the Offense would be responsible for calling a hold if he sees one, from that view, not a hold”
2) “If the blocker is strong enough to keep a defender directly in front of him, and blocker gives up, that is not going to be called.”
3) “Not a hold if he keeps his feet in good position which is another thing we look at.”

I remember so many Sundays racing home from church to flip on CBS, some pretty low points in here not to mention Tyler thigpen, Brodie croyle, Matt cassel, Tyler palko, for some reason brady Quinn for a minute.. yeah I’m enjoying every second of this Chiefs era!

There’s lots of high character guys on this team who will never say anything bad about Petras. LaPorta is one, a great teammate he’ll have Petras’ back. That being said, that stuff is not translating to games. Now whether thats on QB, line, coaching..🤷🏻♂️ but something has to give
