We're simplifying Windsurf pricing across Free, Pro, and Teams alongside launching a new Max plan for our power users.
The new plans replace credits with industry-standard daily and weekly quotas.
For the majority of users, this will be enough to fully cover all agent usage.
If you’re a paying subscriber, your price isn't changing, and we're including a free extra week to try the new system before you commit.
English

The new plans go live on March 19th:
- Free: light quota, unlimited tab completions & inline edits
- Pro ($20/mo): increased quotas, all frontier models
- Teams ($40/seat/mo): centralized billing, admin dashboard, priority support
- Max ($200/mo): significantly higher quotas for power users
Enterprise customers will continue to follow existing billing agreements.

I analyzed the solopreneurs I follow on X.
The ones struggling with distribution tend to spread thin across platforms. Posting inconsistently with no clear focus.
The ones doing well usually commit to one channel and got good at it before adding another. One channel mastered beats five channels ignored.

@tamimbuilds Omg. Not superhuman, “superpowers”! Haha, autocorrect might be the best identifier for non-AI replies

@akashnaitwt @justbyte_ Pretending to work 16 hours or pretending to be a founder? As a founder, I can guarantee you are working at least 16 hours a day. 7 days a week. With no vacation time.
English

@justbyte_ Macbook so you can pretend you are working 16 hours be it while lying down on bed😂
English

@MartinTale Not necessarily. Sometimes you have something to reply, but the post ain’t like-worthy

@miguelgbandeira Coolify works as well. Too resource heavy for my taste though.
English

@miguelgbandeira Once you self-host, there is no going back! Then you find Dokploy that takes care of 90% of your initial server setup, hardening, etc. I love it!

@tamimbuilds In Claude code enter /plugin it gives you a list to select from. Select these: superhuman, code-compressor and context7. After that restart Claude code, and tell it to install sequential thinking mcp. That’s it. You now have a Claude code with superpowers.

I just don't believe this. I do not believe people are reading "Articles" on x dot com
Nikita Bier@nikitabier
We tried something. It didn’t work. And we took those learnings and decided to reward Articles instead of single posts. Articles have grown 20x since December and they are now the largest blogging product on the internet by traffic. In consumer product development, you sometimes take non-linear paths to discover opportunity.

@IronBrands16 Not sure I fully agree here. Free can be a valid growth strat for a product-led engine. Virality from free users = free marketing, can't ignore that.
English

I agree with Alex here, but there are other reasons for a free plan.
Just dont treat it as a pricing strategy. It can be a great marketing strategy however.
Free users do NOT become paid users
Free users CAN become advocates
Best example: Tally.so. .
Alex Napier Holland 🦍@NapierHolland
I've worked with 100+ startups. Free users do NOT become paid users. Why did anyone ever assume they would?

@JamesIvings @vercel @grok is this true? If yes, what are the alternatives? Preferably one in the US and one in the EU.

@KevinSzabo14 The main problem I see isn’t the obvious AI slop, but that the slop is getting better. Soon we aren’t able to distinguish between fake and real ;(
