This book provoked review from special access program subject matter experts with 7 pages of Pentagon redactions in just its first 20 pages. Barber flew helicopter recoveries for an unnamed aerospace giant that many claim to be Northrop Grumman. Barber’s story is corroborated not only by multiple colleagues who flew missions with him but by Marine Michael Herrera (@Traveler03Truth) who described the same thing from the other side of the planet: a 2009 “humanitarian” mission in Indonesia, a 300-foot octagonal craft, men with no insignia, handheld bioscanners, and shipping containers with HVAC units bolted to the roof carrying human cargo. Those are the exact climate-controlled containers Barber says his program used. One operation, two continents, one in testimony in Washington D.C. and one in fiction. Former Congressman Matt Gaetz (@mattgaetz) received a similar briefing: “The briefing I got made these allegations about how the humans for this program were harvested.” He goes on to mention natural disasters, unaccompanied minors and swaths of humans in South America coming across the border along with the Ukraine war. The downed craft were then transported out for reverse engineering. This is the mechanical spine of the entire retrieval operation. Civilian Planes That Wandered In Were Downed Too:  That same insider, later identified as Barber, claimed these restricted-airspace operations brought down civilian aircraft that entered the wrong sky, with the bodies and wreckage disposed of. That is why, he says, the employer wanted both the evidence and him destroyed. Prometheus is still a visually stunning suckfest. It's a clear example of what I've said about Ridley Scott for years. He has very high ideals, and he wants to make very pretentious films. He admitted in the beginning he never respected the science fiction genre and only took on the role of director in "Alien" because he was new and needed work. When you dig into the behind the scenes stuff of Alien (1979) you find Ridley had a lot of dumb ideas that never got past editing because he didn't have the reputation to overrule producers. He lost control of the Alien franchise to James Cameron because he wanted to push existential philosophy, while James actually understood the industry. James Cameron ended up making a bigger impact on the franchise than Ridley did, and I think Ridley always resented it. Ridley went on to handle Blade Runner, and if you know about that film you'll also know a lot of the silly shit in it was Ridley trying to inject existential nonsense into it because he didn't get to do it in Alien. Flash forward to the modern era and Ridley has an awesome reputation. He regains control of the Alien franchise and... injects silly existential nonsense into it. What's worse is that it could've been good with some clever editing changes, reshooting two scenes, and changing the script a bit. But Ridley had these high ideals and wasn't willing to compromise, and no can overrule him now. So we got a half-assed excuse for Alien and a half-assed excuse for the Mountains of Madness. Which actually derailed Guillermo Del Toro's opportunity to make a true adaptation of Lovecraft's work. Thanks a lot, Ridley! They actually put some blinders in Ridley for Alien Covenant, but he was still allowed to do his existential crap so long as he had more horror and action. It didn't make it a better film.
