@SkyHelpTeam one of the things i forgot to mention was that BT were out the day the cables were broken to secure them in case of danger .... so Sky / BT knew what the problem was from Day 1 .....

Thanks for coming back to us Davie, I'm very sorry to read this has been the case when another engineer has attended, was your daughter / son in law able to speak with the team last night at all? When the team advised the issue wasn't raised with Openreach and this is what was going to be done, what did they advise would be happening going forward? Tony

@SkyHelpTeam another day , another engineer out who repaired her neighbours but not hers .... then Sky guy phoned and asked if he could come earlier. He said sky have never raised the issue with Openreach. He was going to make the booking when he left ... shambles

I can appreciate that completely Davie, I do apologise that I don't have another option to offer around getting some help with this, I do understand the last time your daughter / son in law have contacted they haven't had the help they needed, given the on going issue with the external cable and engineers not being made aware of the issue they are attending to fix it's something they will be able to look into. They can also raise a complaint and have this managed on the account if they did want to. Tony

@SkyHelpTeam Thanks for that Tony but the reason we contacted the help team was that she was getting no help whatsoever from the broadband team … the number of people from Sky / BT who didn’t know the cable was cut when they turned up is unreal

Thank you for sending this over, it looks like I've responded to the message that has been sent about this, given ths issue and situation, with what the engineers who have attended have advised the broadband team would need to support with this issue, as much as I'd love to take action on this from this platform we are slightly more limited and there is some action and servcies we're unable to support with, broadband being one of these I'm afraid. Reast assured when contacting the team the poor experience and service can be brought to their attention and the issues with engineers attending who aren't in a position to fix the issue because the issue hasn't been reported correctly to them and they'll be able to investigate this.
