An unexpected environmental disaster has transpired in the wake of the many No Kings protests yesterday. The mass accumulation of liniment, Ben Gay and Absorbine Jr vapors have combined to create an aerosol "warming barrier" that is preventing sunlight and intelligence from reaching the earth...or the protestors. Climate scientists have declared an emergency, calling for immediate restrictions on No Kings protestor gatherings, limiting them to their natural nursing home habitats. Should this latest measure fail to offset the medicinal fog hanging in the nation's air, Democrats have called for confiscatory taxation, mask mandates and the assisted suicide of everyone over the age of 12.

Quit calling the murder of Charlie Kirk "political violence." The word "political" implies multiple viewpoints clashing over ideology in a violent fashion. It's not. It's left wing violence directed at those they cannot defeat in the open arena of ideas. It's coming from one side, and permitting Democrats to describe it in neutral terms is unconscionable. It's left wing, Democrat, Progressive, Socialist, unhinged hatred.

It's ok to be afraid of things in the dark, as long as you're not simply afraid of the dark itself. Likewise, it's ok to be fearful of the short-term impact of tariffs, as long as you're not afraid of tariffs themselves. Why? Tariffs are nothing more than counterweights for the balance of trade. They have no ability to eat your children, abuse your pets or call your Aunt Millie fat. They can however force other nations to adjust their behavior, which, aside from a revenue source, that attitude adjustment factor is the most important. Despite what you're reading in even conservative leaning media, we are not engaged in a trade war. We're barely having a trade spat, more like a trade "I'm mad at you so I'm giving you the silent treatment all week!" Were we in a trade war, you'd have already seen other national economies collapsing in as much as a great number of them are almost wholly dependent on US trade, or trade facilitated by the US. Right now, you're just seeing trade annoyance, not trade battles and sure as hell not a trade war. There's a lot of people that just need to get over themselves.

This election again proves identity politics might be good for bullying the white male in the cubicle next to you, but sucks as the basis for a political ideology.

TO THOSE WHO THINK MY FATHER WOULDN’T HAVE WANTED #TRUMP TO USE FMJ FOOTAGE Here are my thoughts: I agree in principle that an anti-war movie is incongruous with promoting the idea of a tough non-woke US military and thus war itself - however - these are very dangerous and strange times and thus using this footage is doubtless pure expedience. Because I’m sure the irony of using FMJ footage is not lost on Trump or his team - Trump is always seeking to end wars and use peaceful methods. However, that’s primarily what FMJ is about, the shocking and complicated paradoxes of human nature. And thus, on this tooth and claw planet, you need a very strong military - so I’m going to stick with the idea that FMJ footage was used primarily because of its powerful, realistic portrayal of boot camp, juxtaposed with the entirely demoralizing and inappropriate injection of WOKE ideology into the USA military. Which I agree with myself and which I’m certain my father would have agreed with. Truthfully, I believe my father (who supported Reagan), would very much approve of saving America, indeed the world, from the highly destructive Globalist forces threatening to take over this planet. And if that footage from FMJ helps Trump make the point that the US military needs properly trained, super tough, focused, dedicated warriors, and not introduce the demoralizing effects of woke-ism, and attracting people to join up simply to have their sexual reassignments paid for, then Trump has my blessing. Finally, knowing my father very well, I can assure you he had a profound grasp of how paradoxical human nature is! Which accounts for how at the same time he made anti-war films, he had a great passion for guns (self-defense not hunting) and he had quite a few! My father had a great respect for life - his movies being unimpeachable evidence of his love for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness! So on that basis, I feel very confident he would be a Trump supporter and would forgive using FMJ incongruously, if it helps the cause of freedom!
