Stroke treatment is time-sensitive and urgent. Delays cause permanent disability and death. Every stroke patient, like Susan, deserves the chance to recover — and it starts with a FAST response. The Government must #MakeStrokeAPriority as part of its 10-Year Health Plan.

My grandad had a laryngectomy due to cancer and told me ‘become a speech and language therapist because I didn’t think I’d say I love you to you again but I did because of speech therapy’ The gap on the wall has waited years for my grad photo and today we filled it 🤍 @RCSLT

To celebrate #AHPsDay I’d like to share how proud I am of my family 💙 My mum has been a physio for over 30 years and my little brother is training to be a physio, whilst he plays for Harrogate. Mum suggested the idea of becoming an SLT to me and she is my biggest inspiration 💙
