@Utdbeni I’m not a Ruben basher but pre season was actually the best we played … this never transferred to the actual season despite glimpses of progress and patterns of play

@sarkCessful @markgoldbridge Agreed don’t think CAR is the solution but I think Julian or even Thomas complicates signings slightly. In theory singings like Cunha & Bryan who want to be at the club no matter the mgr shouldn’t impact but with the overhaul we need an idea of style before signing players

All this United can't go for a World Cup manager is nonsense and spin! International coaches get 8 months a year off already. They won't need a couple of weeks off after the World cup. So most of them will be available mid July if not start of July

@sarkCessful @markgoldbridge There’s a difference our players and a new manager. Even a seasoned coach needs time to familiarise himself with the club, sort homes/ schools plus players coming back in to environment the manager has already initiated is far different to manager and players prepping weeks be4

@dakin19 @markgoldbridge Welll most of our players will be at the WC so they won't be available for preseason anyways. So having a WC manager will not have an effect anyways cus preseason will definitely be without alot of the main players. They will be on holidays by then

@BBCMOTD @NathSalt1 Looking forward to either of the below replacing it 1. A cooking show in some form 2. Anything with ‘celebrity’ in the title 3. A random game show that no one knows the rules 4. Recreating something classic but making an absolute mess of it 5. Anything ‘reality’ based

An incredible 52-year journey comes to an end. Following extensive consideration, BBC Sport has made the difficult decision to say goodbye to Football Focus at the end of this season. First broadcast in 1974, Football Focus is a testament to the brilliant team who have worked on it over the years and, of course, the audience. The programme has been a staple of the BBC’s football coverage for decades, providing fans with interviews, analysis and stories from across the game ahead of the weekend’s fixtures. But changing audience behaviours mean fans are now increasingly consuming football content in different ways and we need to respond appropriately as we face difficult decisions around how the licence fee is spent. Fans are accessing discussion, highlights, analysis and news through digital platforms and on-demand viewing and as viewing habits continue to evolve, it is right that BBC Sport adapts how it brings football coverage to the widest audiences across television, radio, online and to its extensive social platforms. BBC Sport boasts a strong football rights portfolio and is set to significantly expand its digital output this year growing content across BBC platforms, as well as a bold new slate of exclusive shows on YouTube. Featuring fresh formats, big personalities and more frequent, always-on content tailored for digital audiences, the expansion will bring fans closer to the game than ever before delivering more high-quality, accessible and engaging football coverage at scale. We will release further details on these plans in the coming months.

@BBCMOTD @BBCSport So the world we live in now is a pull on hair no matter how slight or accidental is a guaranteed red but a clear push of the head (outside a nightclub that is a none negotiable head butt) is just a yellow because it’s not excessively aggressive!

Man Utd 0-2 Leeds #liveblog-body" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">skysports.com/football/live-… Thankfully I’m not watching this but “pump it up and hope for the best” screams I’ve picked a central midfield who can’t run with the ball and can’t make line breaking passes

@ThisIsFormu1a1 Not saying this is a fair assessment but the statement that Ferrari had limited data from the Barcelona shakedown!!! Ferrari were only 1 of 3 teams that ran on the wet day so technically they will have more than most

🚨| F1 | Ferrari: the surprise in Pirelli's wet tests at Fiorano is Lewis Hamilton: — Lewis Hamilton's participation in Pirelli's wet tire tests at Fiorano is unexpected, given his usual reluctance to engage in tire development. His involvement with Ferrari's SF-26 suggests a strategic move by Maranello to close the gap with Mercedes. — The tests at Fiorano feature a newly designed Full Wet tire, marking its debut. Pirelli's irrigation system ensures consistent water levels, providing optimal conditions for evaluating the tire's performance on the SF-26. — Charles Leclerc is set to take over testing duties tomorrow. This session offers Ferrari a valuable chance to assess the SF-26's wet performance, building on limited data from the Barcelona shakedown under the new regulations. — Pirelli's testing menu includes future plans for a Super Intermedia tire, though it is not yet part of the current experimentation. The focus remains on the Full Wet tire's capabilities in these controlled conditions. — Ferrari aims to maximize this testing opportunity during the F1 break, seeking to refine their car's performance and gain insights that could be crucial in their championship pursuit against Mercedes. #lewishaamilton 🇬🇧 #scuderiaferrari 🇮🇹 #charlesleclerc 🇲🇨 VIA: [motorsport IT]

@bethTmufc Again showing your knowledge of football. Harry is great but lacks pace , clearly slows the pace of the game when on the ball, can’t complete line breaking passes , can’t progress the ball at his feet if space opens up & in the twilight of his career with repeated injuries

I’m genuinely struggling to understand how you can seriously put most of those other names ahead of Harry? Leader, experienced, elite at defending the box, a constant threat from set pieces, 10/10 penalty in his locker… Truly ridiculous if he doesn’t go.
