All this United can't go for a World Cup manager is nonsense and spin! International coaches get 8 months a year off already. They won't need a couple of weeks off after the World cup. So most of them will be available mid July if not start of July

I actually understand why Manchester United want Andoni Iraola there are clear similarities. But Iraola has a well defined system you see it every weekend… they press aggressively, play through the middle, and don’t sit back inviting pressure. I also get why INEOS are cautious about giving Michael Carrick the permanent job they don’t want another Ole Gunnar Solskjær situation.

If I were in Bruno’s shoes, I’d be seriously thinking about my next move…. Manchester United is a huge club, but winning the biggest trophies needs the right setup…..I doubt Iraola/Carrick will give him that…sometimes it’s just about ambition and timing….nothing personal….
