I spoke with @SecretaryBurgum about Kurdistan Region’s energy outlook and the role of US companies in the industry. There is great potential for collaboration. I reiterated the need for more protection from attacks and welcomed the opportunity to discuss our economic partnership.

زۆر بە توندی سەرکۆنەی ئەو هێرشە تيرۆرستييه‌ ده‌كه‌م كه‌ دره‌نگانى شه‌وى ڕابردوو به‌ درۆن كرايه‌ سه‌ر ماڵی هاووڵاتیيه‌ك لە گوندى زه‌رگه‌زه‌ويى سه‌ر به‌ پارێزگاى هه‌ولێر و له‌ ئه‌نجامدا زۆر به‌داخه‌وه‌ دوو هاوسه‌ر شه‌هيد بوون. پرسە و سەرەخۆشیی قووڵم ئاراستەی بنەماڵە و کەسوکاری شەهیدان دەکەم، لە دڵه‌وه‌ هاسۆز و هاوخه‌ميانم. له‌ خودای مەزن داواکارم گيانيان به‌ به‌زه‌يى و ميهره‌بانيى خۆى شاد بكات و ئارامى و دڵنه‌وايى به‌ بنه‌ماڵه‌ و كه‌سوكاريان ببه‌خشێت. ئه‌م هێرشانه‌ به‌ هیچ شێوه‌یه‌ک قبووڵکراو نین و به‌ ته‌واوی ڕه‌تکراوه‌ن. پێويسته‌ حکوومەتی فیدراڵیی عێراق ئه‌رك و بەرپرسیاريه‌تیی خۆی جێبەجێ بکات بۆ ڕێگريكردن له‌م تاوان و هێرشه‌ تيرۆرستييانه‌ و چیتر ئەم دەستدرێژییانە بۆ سەر خەڵکی سڤيل و بێتاوانى هەرێمی کوردستان دووبارە نەبنەوە.

زۆر غەمبار و دڵگرانم بە بیستنی هەواڵی هێرشی درۆنی بۆ سەر ماڵی پێشمەرگەیەک لە سنووری هەولێر کە بووە هۆی شەهیدبوونی خۆی و خێزانەکەی. بە هەموو شێوەیەک ئەم تاوانە قێزەونە، سەرکۆنە و تاوانباران شەرمەزار دەکەم. بە ئامانجگرتنی خەڵکی سیڤیل و ماڵی هاووڵاتییان، تاوانی جەنگە و داوای خەڵکی بێ تاوانی کوردستان، دەگەینینە هەموو جیهان بۆ ئەوەی سنوورێک بۆ ئەو ستەمکاریەی بەرامبەریان دەکرێت دابندرێت و چیتر بە بیانووی بێ پاساو، پەلاماری خەڵکی کوردستان نەدرێت.

I strongly condemn the heinous attacks by terrorist militias targeting the U.S. Consulate General and civilian areas in Erbil. These deliberate acts of aggression pose a grave threat to the security and stability of the Kurdistan Region, Iraq, and the wider region. This is unacceptable. I once again call unequivocally upon the federal government in Baghdad to take immediate, decisive, and tangible actions against these outlaw armed groups and militias. It is incumbent upon the federal government to use all means to thwart these terrorist attacks and bring those responsible to justice.

Thirty-five years after UNSC Resolution 688, the people of Kurdistan still remember the international support that came at a time when genocide, displacement, and oppression threatened our survival. That support helped save lives, open the way for humanitarian relief, and lay the foundation for the Kurdistan Region as it stands today. We will never forget the sacrifices of the past and the support of our friends.

Happy Easter to our Christian brothers and sisters in Kurdistan, Iraq, and around the world. On this blessed occasion, we reaffirm our commitment to Kurdistan’s historic culture of coexistence and to peace and the protection of all our communities.

I received a call from @USAMBTurkiye and Special Envoy Tom Barrack, who conveyed President Donald Trump’s strong condemnation of the attacks on the Kurdistan Region and the drone strike on my residence in Duhok. I appreciate President Trump’s solidarity, his condolences to the families of the martyrs, and continued U.S. support for the security and stability of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.

I spoke with Secretary @SecRubio. He expressed his condolences on the recent loss of six Peshmerga. We reaffirmed our strong KRG–US relationship. We also discussed relations between the Kurdistan Region and the Federal Government, and economic challenges.

We will take all measures to counter this hostility on the Kurdistan Region. I call on the federal government and the international community to put an end to these attacks on the Kurdistan Region.

I strongly condemn the hostile and traitorous attack on Peshmerga bases last night, which resulted in 6 brave Peshmergas being martyred and 30 others wounded. I offer my condolences to the proud families of the martyrs and wish for recovery for the injured.

هەموو ڕێکارێک بۆ ڕووبەڕووبوونەوەی ئەم دوژمنکارییەی دەکرێتە سەر هەرێمی کوردستان دەگرینە بەر و داوا لە حکومەتی فیدراڵ و کۆمەڵگەی نێودەوڵەتی دەکەین سنوورێک بۆ ئەم هێرشە دوژمنکارانەی سەر هەرێمی کوردستان دابنێن.

هێرشی دوژمنکارانەی غەدر و خیانەتی شەوی ڕابردوو بۆ سەر بارەگاکانی پێشمەرگە شەرمەزار و سەرکۆنە دەکەین کە لە ئەنجامدا 6 پێشمەرگەی قارەمان شەهید و 30 پێشمەرگەش بریندار بوون. سەرەخۆشی لە کەسوکاری سەربەرزی شەهیدان دەکەم و داوای چاکبوونەوەش بۆ برینداران لە خودای گەورە دەکەم.
