Lots of little bugs on Lake Pontchartrain at night time. Got clocked last night coming across the Causeway. Going to the North Shore during daylight hours, not a bug on the windshield. Coming back at night, got shellacked. After my washer fluid ran out I barely made it across the bridge being able to see through my windshield. When I pulled into the Exxon station on Causeway at West Esplanade, there were a dozen other cars already pulled in, drivers scraping bugs off their windshield. Crazy amount of bugs

@nolacampanella How many permits do they have to get and how many fees do they have to pay before they can even begin to make repairs? The zoning and building regulations in the French Quarter heavily incentivize blight and allowing buildings to collapse.

Gas prices in New Orleans are skyrocketing. Regular unleaded is $330 a gallon. Premium unleaded over $4 a gallon. And diesel is at $4.70 a gallon. This is at a Racetrac which usually has competitive prices.

BREAKING NEWS - another massive water main break in NOLA. Multiple people’s homes and cars are flooding. Avoid the Carrollton area on the river side of S. Claiborne. I would not drink the water coming out of your faucets if you live around New Orleans and have low water pressure.
