How dare the Blue Jackets give Ohio High School players a fun once in a lifetime opportunity to play Hockey as where the Blue Jackets play. Sarcasm. I would think it would be a cool experience. A team that they grew up watching and going to Blue Jackets Games and now they tell family and friends that they played a Hockey game there. Blackhawks, Bruins, and Minnesota have also had High School Hockey Tournament at there place. Not just a Blue Jackets thing.

The Miami RedHawks Are IN!!! Miami is in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2007! The RedHawks are an #11 seed and will take on SMU in Dayton, Ohio in the First Four. Miami was the LAST team selected into the field.

@BannersParkway I think more so he got famous for his excitement level. And then leaned into it and it wasn’t genuine anymore. Forced excitement and it is obvious.
Unfortunate because he has some great calls. But it can be tough to watch a game he is calling

My theory is that he had to change his style when FOX tried to shoehorn him into broadcasting soccer for some reason and he just hasn't gotten it back since. The authenticity is gone; only the volume remains. It's hollow noise now, I'm afraid.

I’ve mentioned this before, and it’s a sad realization to come around to. But Gus lost his college basketball broadcasting fastball years ago. He has zero business being the lead guy on the highest-profile games for Fox.
