One thing we accidentally learned is that never introducing screens (or having them exist strictly in special circumstances, like long haul flights) basically solves this. Every time screen time creeps in, like when one of the kids is sick, it’s always a bit of a fight to dial back down. I can’t imagine trying to cut back once it’s a big part of their lives. It seems like never starting down the path and adding friction everywhere (for us this means not having a TV, just a difficult to use projector with no screen) is the move. An huge benefit is that the kids join us out at dinner all the time and they can just chill / draw / talk with us without much issue (obviously sometimes they’re fidgety etc but it’s mostly totally fine).

I find the 'face of boxing' (and whose next) silly. Post-Canelo there is none, and may never be another one. Bottom line, they don't fight enough, generate enough attention, or have the match-ups that put them over the top. But there will be guys who will make a lucrative living from #boxing

tremendous jumps in average gas prices, these are the top 10 states seeing average prices surge the most, all of them over 30c/gal higher from a week ago

UPDATE: At least 10 people shot at Edmond, Oklahoma campground, police say. Number expected to rise. Suspects still at large.

Striking point from @moneyguyshow this week. Over 45 years, amid widely varying interest rate environments, efforts by presidential administrations on both sides of the aisle to encourage more homeownership through policy have not really moved the needle at all.

Unless you have enough power to back up Benavidez, or a master boxer (or a bit of both) its difficult to keep him from just swarming you with this activity. Zurdo simply didn't have enough of either trait.. #boxing

The 76ers win Game 7, become the 14th team to win a series after trailing 3-1 and advance to the Eastern Conference Semifinals for the first time since 2023! They will take on the Knicks in Round 2.

Everything is working so well right now. People hate the economics of healthcare. They are terrified they won’t be able to afford what they need and they already can’t afford their deductibles. Employers have to pay 30k a year and it impacts their hiring and firing decisions. The big vertically integrated companies game MLR, game managed Medicaid. Under pay, over charge , year apart independent pharmacies and physicians It’s the furthest thing from an efficient market. And you think breaking them up would be worse ? How could it possibly get worse
