@SallyAnn1066 How about installing good WiFi and having a few more early 'fast' trains that don't trundle along + stop everywhere? 1hr 22 from Hastings to London Bridge is fine if you can work on the train but these options only start after 930! Is shaving 15 mins off fixing the right problem?

Yesterday I met with Rail Minister Wendy Morton to discuss #HS1 and the need to boost local transport connectivity.🚆🛤️ We have a solid business case to push this forward, and I will continue to lobby both Transport Ministers and the Treasury for funding in Hastings and Rye.

A predictably sad outcome that's become a reality because we normalised excessive state powers and accepted infringements on civil liberties and the right to protest.

Shameful scenes at #ReclaimTheseStreets at Clapham Common. Protesting is a right that must be protected. And women have a right to protest a lack of protection. This is a mess.
