Crime was plummeting throughout Biden's presidency after it skyrocketed during Trump's first presidency. It was hitting record lows before Trump took office again. A part of that crime reduction came from the American Rescue Plan that gave billions to law enforcement across the country. No Republicans voted for that bill.
