Bro, I’m reading this book right now about the persecuted church, the martyrs, the families losing everything for Jesus, and I’m just sitting here like, dang, Lord, I actually repent for how disconnected I’ve been from the suffering of our global family. These believers are getting burned out of their homes, jailed, and killed while we’re over here arguing about sound bites and bad Instagram theology. I’m scrolling my phone while somebody in Iran is whispering worship so they don’t get caught while their pastor is being executed in front of them. And it hit me hard because I think I treated persecution like it was some distant story. Inspiring, emotional, but not real. But these stories are real. This is the backbone of our faith. And honestly, shoutout to Kiki because she told me to read this book. I thought it was going to be intense but manageable. Instead, it felt like God cracked my chest open and poured His heart into me. I realized I’ve been praying for revival without realizing revival is already happening. It’s just happening in underground churches, prison cells, hidden homes, and persecuted nations outside my comfortable time zone. I’ve treated freedom like a right while believers across the world treat Jesus like a treasure worth dying for. And that changes you. Because somewhere today, somebody whispered the name of Jesus knowing it might cost them their life. That is humbling.

@sanderson1611 I agree. Pakistan and India have tensions since 1947. The difference between Pakistan and Iran is that Pakistan is not under the influence of Muslim Extremist. Many churches/ christians have paid the price but so did the Muslim Pakistanis. Iran is under Muslim Extremists rule.

I don’t see this story enough. RIP Gabriel Taye. Committed suicide at the age of 8 years old because he was being bullied at school. The school caught the video on camera where he was knocked unconscious and never even told the parents anything. I have no words. REST UP KING.

UncleG You don't need to be genius to understand fundamentals of foreign policy. Foreign policy is a byproduct of internal policies and when you are internally weak that naturally cast a shadow on your foreign policy. If we were strong no one would have dictated us on KL summit.

What keeps poor countries poor? This picture always reminds me of one important reason: "Resource misallocation". Here's the story. Eager to help his young country, Dr. Abdus Salam, the future Nobelist, returned to Pakistan in 1951 as a 25 years old star of the Physics world.
