Almost identical records (both 273 games, DF 72 goals, DCL 71 goals) Both delivered big headed goals in front of the Gwladys St v Liverpool plus DF v Man U and DCL v Palace but struggles with consistency and fitness. Will Everton history judge Dom as kindly as Dunc I wonder?

@pamorrissy @CBeesleyEcho No they won’t.Because Dunc didn’t have a season surrounded by Richarleson Siggurdson and James where he could poke the ball in from 6 yards.Stats mean nothing unless you have some context with them.There is none in this comparison.

@CBeesleyEcho Tbf ferguson is massively overrated especially as a player who never achieved what his natural talent deserved. Dcl far less talented but far more dedicated to game sadly his lack of natural talent makes comparison a numbers game imo
