自分がジュラシックワールド新たなる支配者の直後の物語として考えてたうちの一つは、恐竜だけがかかる感染症の爆発的な広がりにより再び恐竜達は絶滅の一途を辿ることとなり、彼らを保護し、時には殺処分を迫られる中、ある一頭の恐竜（獣脚類）がその感染症に免疫を持っておりそれを捕獲するという、恐竜をもっと「生物として」描く方に振った物語だったんだけど、これは10年以上前に漫画賞に出した物語に近い。噂されてるワールド５作目のシノプシスが仮に本当なら方向性は少し似てるかも。
