The details of Ann Widdecombe’s murder revealed in court are horrific. Why will no one report on Joshua Kerry’s political views?

#Farage demanding a general election is peak irony. The House of Commons currently looks like this: • Labour: 403 MPs • Conservatives: 119 MPs • Liberal Democrats: 72 MPs • SNP: 9 MPs • Reform UK: 8 MPs • Greens: 4 MPs • Plaid Cymru: 4 MPs Labour has a majority of 165 over the others combined. Farage has enjoyed a brief romance with opinion polls, but Westminster deals in MPs, not romance or vibes. Eight MPs is hardly an earthquake. Reform has never held a democratic leadership contest, yet Farage lectures everyone about democracy. For someone constantly demanding scrutiny of others, your resignation as an MP looks remarkably perverse, coming amid continuing questions over your undisclosed £5 million from a convicted money launderer. You are the antithesis of democracy. Enjoy your campaign against… a bin. It may be the only thing you’re currently leading in the polls.

What we witnessed today was deeply troubling to anyone who cares about our democracy. Make no mistake, this really is a coup. There must be a general election immediately. mol.im/a/15991783

The state of the bond markets after PM Burnham spoke. 👇 Much much worse than during Liz Truss’s short stint in Number 10. Where are the hysterics and calls for him to go?

@FUDdaily The markets appear to agree....

The left would have you believe Donald Trump is universally hated. Reality tells a very different story. Millions around the world support him, and moments like this show their narrative doesn’t extend beyond their own echo chamber. America would be in chaos right now without him.

What this dangerous moment in our history calls for is a Margaret Thatcher. What we are getting is an Andy Burnham.

Pretty much every pundit, coach, ex-coach, ref, ex-ref, current and ex-player has said the exit of #England was because of the coach, I think the only one's backing him are either German or work for the @FA, which is another reason we'll win fuck all in the near future, sack him!

Big news!!! I am joining @reformparty_uk . I believe the country needs a Revolution not just tinkering with. I am sorry to leave the Conservatives and retain great friends there; but feel I must assist in this Revolution and ensure @Nigel_Farage becomes that reforming Prime Minister - backed by a top team. More explanation tomorrow but this story today: express.co.uk/news/politics/…

If we are honest, bar 45 mins against Croatia, England were very poor in the World Cup. Tuchel should never have been appointed and should leave. His tactics are ultra negative. He didn’t get the best out of most the squad. And he’s a huge coward.

Thomas Tuchel should be dismissed by the FA for failing to deliver when it mattered most, having regressed into the same “park the bus” approach when defending a 1-0 lead that defined Gareth Southgate’s tenure in key games. The FA must now spare no effort in securing Pep Guardiola as England’s next head coach.

He’s nailed it here @FA @England Tuchel has failed his biggest test and he needs to fuck off now, we’ve endured this with Southgate and needed a coach to be brave and take us to the next level, he’s shown he’s not that man so please sack him ASAP!

In the week when Ann Widdecombe was bludgeoned to death in a political attack on Reform, it was extremely tasteless of Kemi Badenoch to make jokes about Farage debating a bin. Very poor form. But then the Tories treated dear Ann appallingly.

'What the country deserves is a televised debate between Nigel Farage and Count Binface'. Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch has called for a TV debate between the Reform UK leader and Count Binface, who is standing against Mr Farage in the Clacton by-election. Follow PMQs live: trib.al/EBuCphK

The man arrested over allegedly threatening to murder Nigel Farage reportedly identified himself as a Liberal Democrat supporter. If true, this should be a wake up call. Political rhetoric has consequences. Ed Davey has constantly attacked Nigel Farage with personal jibes, but when the temperature gets this high, every political leader has a responsibility to help lower it. Debate the politics. Challenge the ideas. But stop creating a culture where politicians are treated as legitimate targets.
