I finished my first week as an attending MIGS surgeon! I can’t believe I spent the week talking to women about endometriosis, fibroids, and chronic pelvic pain and they wanted to have surgery with ME. All the hard work really paid off! ☺️

Medicaid covers pregnant women up to 12 months postpartum.
CHIP covers less- 2 visits within 60 days pp.
2/3 maternal deaths in the U.S. occur during postpartum, up to 42 days after birth.
By cutting Medicaid/CHIP, I am sure this number will increase due to lack of access.
