I was watching content creators who felt free and safe to start and create new things without the fear of a half-baked A.I. making decisions it should never be allowed to make. I was watching content creators who knew they could reach out to human support for issues that could potentially harm their channel and livelyhood. There was new content that pushed boundaries and traversed new territory into the art of media with a generation of fresh eyes leading the way. It got a little rowdy at times, sure. But when a bad actor had to be dealt with, it was done so by a human with a human perspective and human standards.

As someone who was screamed at every day and beat up by their spouse(f) (now ex) in front of their child for years, this pisses me off. Can you imagine if she was a man? The only plea deal she would have been given would be 5 years in prison. That's how it should be, man or woman.

as someone who has actively kept up with this show and all the people in it since it first aired years ago, this is really heartbreaking to see. since some people aren’t aware though, and i have seen some misinformation, they have been fairly open about this incident occurring for years (but this video was not available to view until recently). i have seen people saying she needs jail time, taylor actually already had charges pressed back then for this specific incident and she did plead guilty. ill explain some of that below to the best of my ability, but she has openly admitted that she was the aggressor towards Dakota (her ex) on past interviews about this incident. (all of this is to the best of my knowledge based on public reports) in 2023 she was arrested and charged with: - aggravated assault (third-degree felony) - two counts of domestic violence in the presence of a child (third-degree felonies) - child abuse (class A misdemeanor) - criminal mischief (class B misdemeanor) these were all from the altercation above and charges were pressed by authorities after investigation. - in august 2023 taylor entered a plea in abeyance to the aggravated assault charge (a third-degree felony). this is a form of guilty plea where the charge is held in abeyance (on hold) for a set period, in this case, 36 months (3 years) of supervised probation. if she complies with all terms (no new violations of law, etc.), the felony would be reduced to a class A misdemeanor at the end of the term (around august 2026). the other four charges were dismissed with prejudice. - she served one day in jail initially and was on probation at the time of recent events (including the resurfaced video leading to her bachelorette season cancellation in march 2026). prosecutors have since been reviewing whether newer allegations (from a february 2026 incident) violate her probation terms. it is a work in progress. pray for this family, especially for the children involved. these children and this family will never be the same after all of this.
