At a celebration for the ‘creative industries’ the place should have been rammed with the creatives whose worked enables all of these jobs to exist.
Would have been nice to see more/any people recognise that and take artists as their plus 1.

Something on my mind after yesterday…
Lovely to see some fellow artists there, most of them were there because they lead organisations.
Artists were way outnumbered by board members, managers, venue directors and finance/marketing staff…

@NECulture I’ve read this article several times to see if I’m missing something, but it just feels deeply problematic and lacks understanding of the beautiful threads that make up entire creative ecology, holding value in a ‘quality’ that is utterly subjective and often elitist.
