@DouglasLoveful Having my tech team meeting at 7:30 am (they are in Europe) it kicks me into high gear, and I get working. Sometimes I forget I need to eat until 1pm, doing deep work. Afternoon evening are for networking and outreach.

What's your biggest productivity hack as a founder? I'm curious 🤔

You don't need more people. You need a room worthy of what you bring.

Robotics & physical AI is the highest leverage bet in tech right now. Labor gaps in manufacturing, elder care, defense, and space all reduce to the same requirement: bodies that work in the real world, not just software and models. What's changed: actuator costs are down, sensor quality is up, and foundation models let one policy generalize from a biped to a factory arm. The stack finally clears the bar hardware alone never did. The differentiation moves past motor design into sim-to-real transfer, data flywheels, and low-cost embodiment at scale. What are you building?

Hard tech has more bullshit traction signals than software lol. LOIs, MOUs, pilot discussions, "strategic interest”, government relationships, non-binding purchase intentions, joint development conversations, etc. Would rather see one customer wire money, deploy product, and come back for a second order than a deck full of logos and non-binding paperwork. Interest is free. Budget requires conviction.

@E_Bruxxx Hard tech takes money way before you have revenue. We raised 1M on university research and prototypes. If you are looking for hard traction at pre-seed you are not investing in hard/deep tech

Moved from SF to Palo Alto. Immediate +20°F / +10°C reality check. Thankfully, years of thermodynamics classes finally paid off: just route the AC’s exhaust straight up the chimney. Hot air rises, problem solved. Physicists don’t complain about the heat, we reroute it. 🔥➡️❄️

silicon valley will fund a stanford dropout with a pitch deck and zero customers over a nobody with a working product and real revenue. every single time. here's what nobody in tech wants to say out loud:
