Outside of the Pies game and some of the Friday arvo game I’ve watched next to no footy this weekend. Not watching tonight either. I wonder how many people watch a full game without being somehow invested? Whether it’s their team, betting or fantasy footy. Surely not many.

Maybe it's just me as a supporter of a non-Victorian team but Gather Round is overhyped rubbish. Magic Round in the NRL is superb because you can watch all games in one venue over three days. I just don't see what the attraction is other than AFL media and corporate junkets.

Also any business owner crying about having to pay super shouldn’t run a business
