Heyy guys, So this modafucker called me today and I believe she was trying to confirm my number and location with the police as I could hear their voices on the background. If Dayo feels she can use police to silent me, then she should have a rethink. @TheSerahIbrahim @trigottista @Urchilla01

Dear children, happy celebrations! As we honour you today, I reflect on the incredible talent, energy, and resilience you possess. You are not only the future of our nation but also its vibrant pulse in the present. Each time I look into the eyes of a child in Nigeria—whether in a classroom, a displaced persons' camp in Benue, or on the streets of Lagos—I see unparalleled potential. I envision future scientists, tech visionaries, leaders, and builders who can stand toe-to-toe with the world’s best if they have access to the right resources. The true measure of a nation's leadership lies in how it cares for its youngest members. It is unacceptable that countless children remain out of school, and that essential healthcare and safety are seen as privileges instead of rights. To transform Nigeria from a nation of consumption to one of production, we must begin by investing significantly in you. Leaders, parents, and educators, we must acknowledge that the best investment a nation can make is in developing its human capital, particularly through foundational education and healthcare. Failing to invest in our children today is akin to borrowing from our future. To you, my dear children: • Always keep dreaming: Your current situation does not limit your potential. • Remain curious: Engage in reading, learning, and adopting new technologies. The world is evolving rapidly, and you have the intellect to lead that evolution. • Take pride in your identity: As Nigerians, you embody resilience, brilliance, and the promise of greatness. We will continue our efforts to cultivate a new Nigeria—one where your dreams are recognised, schools are safe, and your future is assured. Blessings to all, and may God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria. -PO

A WARNING TO THE PRESIDENT @officialABAT , GOVERNMENT @NigeriaGov , @nassnigeria @NGRSenate @HouseNGR Governors’ Forum @NGFSecretariat and State Houses of Assembly AND THE NIGERIAN POLITICAL CLASS OF NIGERIA AT LARGE: DO NOT DARE WISH OUR CHILDREN “HAPPY CHILDREN’S DAY” TODAY . To the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the Vice President, the Governors of the 36 States, the Federal Executive Council, the Members of the National Assembly, the State Houses of Assembly, and the entire political class that has captured and destroyed the Nigeria State: Do not dare. Do not dare open your mouths on May 27 to wish Nigerian children a “Happy Children’s Day.” Do not dare release the recycled, ghost-written platitudes your media handlers have already drafted. Do not dare stand in front of cameras, surrounded by carefully arranged children in matching uniforms, to perform a tenderness you have never extended to the millions of Nigerian children you have abandoned, betrayed, and condemned to lives of suffering. You have no moral standing to wish anything to Nigerian children. None. Consider what you are dishonorably wishing them. You are wishing “Happy Children’s Day” to the 39 students and 7 teachers seized only days ago, on 15 May 2026, from a secondary school and two primary schools in Ahoro Esinele community in Oriire district of Oyo State- children aged between two and sixteen , snatched from the southwest in a chilling expansion of a terror that you swore would be confined to the north. You are wishing “Happy Children’s Day” to the 25 schoolgirls of the Government Girls Comprehensive Secondary School in Maga, Wasagu/Danko, Kebbi State, taken from their hostel at dawn on 18 November 2025, after gunmen killed the vice principal and most of whom are still missing as I write. You are wishing “Happy Children’s Day” to the 303 students and 12 teachers of St. Mary’s Catholic Primary and Secondary School in Papiri, Niger State, seized on 21 November 2025 - children aged 10 to 18, boys and girls- whose abduction forced more than 20,000 Nigerian schools to close indefinitely . You are wishing “Happy Children’s Day” to the 287 students of the Government Secondary School in Kuriga, Kaduna State, taken by gunmen on motorcycles on 7 March 2024 in broad daylight while you and your political colleagues posed for swearing-in photographs. You are wishing “Happy Children’s Day” to the 15 children of Gidan Bakuso, Sokoto State, seized from their boarding school on 9 March 2024 as they slept. You are wishing to the Chibok girls- over 90 of whom are still missing, twelve years after April 14, 2014, while you have moved on, and for your repugnant luxury, speedily rebuilt and redecorated Aso Villa, bought opulent hideous cars, and rotated power among yourselves as if those girls never existed. But their parents who gave birth to them continue to grieve and daily rain curses on the evil leaders that have shown no empathy towards them and their abducted daughters. You are wishing “Happy Children’s Day” to the children of Dapchi, Kankara, Kagara, Jangebe, Afaka, Greenfield, Bethel Baptist, Tegina - and to the many whose abductions never made the headlines because Nigeria had run out of capacity to grieve. You are wishing “Happy Children’s Day” to the at least 1,799 students seized in a dozen of the largest abductions since Chibok , and to the 670 children affected by at least 10 school kidnappings in less than two years - a litany of horror compiled not by your security agencies, but by international human rights organisations doing the work your government refuses to do. Tosin (co-founder/CEO of Moniepoint) and I were same set in Ife (entered 2001). Razaq co-founder of Cowrywise a year our junior (2002). I finished in 2006 because I studied a 4-year course. Tosin and Razaq finished in 2007 because Tosin studied a 5 year course, Razaq 4. I didn't know Tosin in Ife. Razaq and I were close. Now, Tosin's company, Momiepoint, has just committed N1 billion to building an innovation hub in OAU. I can't wait for my own company, Jarus Homes, to also become big enough to be able to commit N1 billion into our alma mater alone. Well done, Tosin @Eniolorunda PS: I think OAU 2000 - 2010 guys really cooked. Apart from Moniepoint and Cowrywise, Jobberman, Seamless HR are other top tech companies founded by OAU guys of that era. Any other popular one?
Dr. Toks 🦇@fimiletoks

Moniepoint is putting ₦3 billion into building Innovation Hubs at OAU, UNN and ABU where students can learn software engineering, AI, robotics, product design and entrepreneurship with direct industry support. A lot of conversations about Nigeria’s digital economy focus on startups and funding, but only a few talk about the real foundation which is the talent pipeline. The engineers, designers and builders coming out of our universities. Also important that this isn’t concentrated in Lagos. OAU, UNN and ABU gives regional spread and access across the country. Tosin Eniolorunda deserves credit for this. It’s easy to build a successful company, scale and move on, but investing back into the institutions to produce the next generation of talents is the type of leadership and long-term impact that our society needs. Well done to the team at Moniepoint for investing in the Moniepoint Innovation Hubs 👏🏽.

I am an aspirant. I completed my screening and just submitted my Nomination form today, I was not asked to pay a Kobo more than 200k as state dues. I had thought it was true that we would pay party development fees up to 3m but it was all false. @Morris_Monye didn't lie

The fight loading in NDC eheeeee 😂😂😂😂😂 Imagine alot of loyal Obidients that have worked so hard over the years being asked to pay 10m (party development fee) before they can get tickets 🤣🤣 After screening, you ask them to pay 10m? And it is not refundable? With no guarantee they will get ticket? That's criminal

Ekiti State authorities have reportedly arrested AYODELE BABALOLA for exposing the terrible condition of roads across the state. A party that goes after citizens for speaking up instead of fixing problems has completely failed the people. APC is a disgraceful political party.

Former Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew once said that he learn't from the failure of Nigeria while building Singapore from a third world to a first world nation. Nigeria gained it's independence in 1960 while Singapore gained theirs in 1965. Our both countries where colonized by the British. He said that Nigeria lacked the will to be a nation. In his 1966 visit to Lagos, he observed that Nigeria's leaders were utilizing their positions for self-enrichment and private ventures rather than national advancement. For example, he recounted a conversation with Nigeria's Finance Minister at the time, who implemented protective import tariffs on shoes primarily so that he could retire and successfully run his own shoemaking factory. He learned from this that state resources were being heavily diverted to build personal wealth instead of establishing long-term, meritocratic, and productive institutions. He concluded that vast natural and human resources could not substitute for a cohesive national identity and honest, competent leadership. How i wish Nigeria can go back to basics and start fixing from there.
