Believing this for my dad!
He’s about the same and a little better (from the week long appendicitis and ruptured appendix), nothing has spread to any other organs yet.
He’s off the blood pressure medicine to keep it raised but he’s still on ventilator and in the induced coma.
They’re going to wean down the sedation meds today and they’re waiting to see if they can locate the infection.
Yesterday Joey and I went in to pray and he heard my voice and opened his eyes and looked at me and responded (his heart rate remained stable) but it was encouraging to know that he responded and was glad we were there.
Hearing Joey pray was everything! Asking and believing for his sake as well that my dad be restored soon.
My mom is much more encouraged and my sister got a hotel for them for her to rest but she was calling me at 1 AM wanting to be back by my dad. Glad she has support.
Thank you all for praying, visiting, texting, or reaching out to us. It’s been an encouragement as it helps my mom talk about it to let the stress out!

Please pray for my dad. He had an appendix burst last Saturday and it went undiagnosed until this past Thursday (twice the ER thought it was Covid.) They found out it had burst the other day and did surgery and all was looking good until today where he’s septic and has abscesses. They’ve changed medicine and draining and may do another flush. Doctor said other organs aren’t affected for now. Pray and I’m planning now to fly home tomorrow.
