For this alone I am on board. Mngt can't be the only path to promotion. A dual track makes sense. "One possible solution is to create a separate track that would allow specialists to be promoted for those skills without having to move into management."

@Highly_Touted Also depends on what you are into. If you like comedy there are usually reasonably priced shows within a few streets of the strip. Same for magic if that is your jam. Very cheap option: sit in a casino sports book and catch games. Enjoy people freaking out on weird prop bets.

@Highly_Touted I say from experience that a week is a loooooong time to be in the core of Vegas. Highly recommend getting out of the city. Grand Canyon bus trips are slightly expensive but it is a full day, so even at ~$120 per could be worth it IMO.

Why do so many Canadians fly domestically with passports? Was this once a rule? Is it the norm in other countries, or do many folks not have another government photo ID? I can see some reasons, but I'm always surprised how many I see on domestic flights.
