CarPlay is only good if you have a rental car and need to get around; you’ll put up with the weird connection issues, cartoon interface, etc. only because the native vehicle software sucks so much. If you drive a Tesla, it’s completely superfluous and annoying. This is why Tesla will not add it. They will add AirPlay, however. 😉

Apple CarPlay users are addicted to this hot garbage and will think it’s an amazing interface. I see a gas station on the map, I need to go to the gas station, it’s a touch screen, yet I cannot tap on it.
