Soldiers assaulted a reporter without provocation. This is not an isolated incident—it’s part of a dangerous pattern. We cannot normalize attacks on the press.

Dear Airtel, Since there's shortage of people that sell akara on Saturday morning, why don't you look into that business and leave this telecom business? Best disregard, An unsatisfied customer.

Nigeria has no Elite class. What you have are chronic debtors & rent seekers. Most of them are broke. Pageant Queen is no exception. He is obviously living above his means. What happened to MTN 5G & other routers? Smart guy wants to outrun the prevailing Tinubunomic conditions in his country. 😄 These are the issues. He is shameless about it. He wants a cheap internet, but poor Nigerians should endure the maddest inflation & a Macro Economy. An economy driven by stocks only. He is crying over a mere ₦215,955 (160 USD). But he supports the most wicked government since 1960. A government that removed ALL subsidies on education, health, fuel, & power. A government that continues to borrow recklessly. A government of taxes & triple inflation. A government that continues to tax poverty. That of 20 million out-of-school kids. He supports a government of rice, ewa, indomie, & ₦3,500 for data boys. That of an amazing 133 million multidimensionally poor. If you don’t have a $160 widow’s mite for home internet, then you have no business supporting a government of the rich, by the rich, & for the rich only. It’s an indictment on the government you support. If they cannot pull you out of poverty, thenpoor Nigerians are shit outta luck! Poor & middle class can complain but not you. Put on some shame, don’t disturb my peace.

.@elonmusk, For months, I have paid ₦49,000 for my Starlink subscription in Nigeria. Suddenly, and without notice, without consent, and without any change to my plan, I am slammed with a ridiculous charge of ₦215,955. Let’s be clear: this looks like exploitation, not pricing. You do not wake up one morning and multiply a customer’s bill by over 4x with zero communication. That is not business, it is abuse of trust. Are Nigerian customers being taken for granted? Is this a deliberate strategy or a gross failure of your billing system? Either way, it is unacceptable. Reverse this charge immediately and explain yourselves publicly. Silence will only confirm the worst assumptions. cc: @fccpcnigeria @Starlink
