TL;DR: After 8 unforgettable years, I’m saying goodbye to the Israel MFA and beginning a new chapter.
Eight years ago, I started my dream job at the Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs, joining the team responsible for shaping Israel’s digital presence across the globe.
Ten-year-old me, who dreamed about visiting Israel, could never have imagined she’d grow up to tweet on behalf of it.
During my time at the MFA, I fell in love—with the people, the purpose, and the mission.
Over the years, I’ve had experiences beyond anything I could have imagined: visiting the UAE and representing Israel shortly after the Abraham Accords were signed, traveling to war-torn Ukraine to support Israeli refugees and relief efforts, standing alongside hostage families at The Hague, and working with some of the most passionate, talented people I’ve ever met.
And then there were the wild moments—responding to the Iranian Ayatollah with a Mean Girls meme, getting Elon Musk’s attention with a Taylor Swift quote, and even seeing our content featured on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
But behind the headlines and viral moments, this job was always about something deeper: telling Israel’s story with honesty, creativity, and heart—even when the digital space was loud, critical, and unrelenting.
Since October 7, our team has been on the digital front lines—publishing over 40,000 pieces of content and reaching more than 7 billion impressions.
We’ve worked around the clock to counter misinformation, elevate the stories of the hostages, and remind the world that behind every headline are real people, real pain, and real hope.
This work has never just been professional—it’s been deeply personal. It’s shaped who I am. And it’s been the honor of a lifetime to play even a small role in telling Israel’s story, especially in its most difficult moments.
But after eight incredible years, I’ve decided it’s time for something new.
So what’s next? First—a bit of rest. A short break to breathe, reflect, and reset (we all need one). During this time, I’ll be consulting and lecturing—helping individuals and organizations shape their digital storytelling and strategy.
At the same time, I’m beginning to explore full-time opportunities—ideally at the intersection of strategic communications, foreign policy, and impact—whether in the public or private sector.
To @DavidSaranga, @YiftahCuriel, and @EmmanuelNahshon—thank you for believing in my vision and always giving me the space to push boundaries, even when my ideas were wildly out of the box and to @Galtweets for taking a chance on me when I was just a student who knew nothing about social media.
To Sapir, Moran, Sima, Arik, Sharona, @GabrielChocron, @lindamnu, and Roni—thank you for making Israel’s voice heard in six languages, across every corner of the world.
And to so many others—@LiorHaiat, @RutyDar, @HamutalRogel, and more—you each know the personal impact you’ve had on me. Thank you.
This chapter will always be a part of me. It’s been one of the most meaningful and formative experiences of my life.
Thank you to each and every one of you for being part of it.
Good luck to @yaakovlivne and the rest of the Public Diplomacy Directorate as you continue to share Israel’s story with the world.
It’s been the greatest honor to represent my country 💙🇮🇱.
More soon.

I met two lovely girls this week, both in their 20s, both waiting for their boyfriends to propose 💍💕
Both couples have been together happily for years, both want to get married, and one boyfriend even bought a ring months ago! But neither has proposed yet…
Can you guess what’s stopping them?!
