On one hand, #IDAHOBIT might be a day to celebrate when homosexuality was removed from the @WHO classification of diseases. On the other hand, it is now said to be against "LGBTQIA+" discrimination.
Q? That's spicy straight people. A? Nothing to do with homosexuality. I? An outdated offensive misleading term. T? How people dress is not a sexual orientation. +? Your guess is as good as ours.
The fight for LGB rights is far from over worldwide but has been destroyed by adding a set of invented identities. So we'll celebrate the 20 September as LGB Independence Day instead.

The law in its current form must be repealed. The original objective of the law and meaning of the word “sex” in the Sex Discrimination Act must be restored.
Otherwise the serious erosion of rights and protections of #women in #Australia in law and policies will continue.

The Full Federal Court has handed down its judgement in Giggle v Tickle. In a shock to women across the country - Sall Grover not only lost her appeal, the Court set aside the original finding of indirect discrimination and replaced it with direct discrimination, upholding Tickle's cross-appeal. The damages were doubled from $10,000 to $20,000. It’s important to note the Court expressly said it was only applying the Sex Discrimination Act as it is written- it is "not empowered to give effect to its own view" about whether that law is desirable. In 2013, @JuliaGillard’s @AustralianLabor government amended the Sex Discrimination Act- stripping the meaning out of "man" and "woman" and adding gender identity as a protected attribute to be pitted against biological sex. Today's outcome is proof of what those amendments have done: women are left with no meaningful rights or recognition under the Sex Discrimination Act - a bitter irony, given that protecting women was the very purpose of the Act under our commitment to CEDAW. In my opinion, this is a verdict on the law, not on Sall. The judges found that the law - as that government amended it - left them no other conclusion. These amendments must be repealed. The Sex Discrimination Act must once again recognise biological reality and protect women's right to single-sex spaces. Saludo esta importante decisión de la @CorteSupremaJ de #Colombia sobre la #prostitución de adolescentes y niños.
Aprecio que la Corte haya leído mi informe sobre la prostitución y la violencia contra las mujeres y las niñas, y que lo haya citado en su decisión. (Puede acceder a la versión en español de mi informe aquí: docs.un.org/es/A/HRC/56/48)
Haré comentarios más detallados al respecto la próxima semana, dada su importancia.
Sin embargo, y por el momento, quería expresar mi sincera esperanza de que el próximo paso sea aplicar el mismo enfoque que adoptó la Corte aqua con respecto a la prostitución de las mujeres (adultas).

Woke isn’t dead. It has moved into the lawfare phase.
The left understands that judges and policymakers rely on academic journals to determine what counts as expert consensus, so it is flooding those journals with ideological nonsense and sex pseudoscience. That fake consensus is then used to reshape law and policy.
While many assume the tide has turned, the activist project is quietly pre-soaking the battlefield in petrol in preparation for future legal battles.
We need more than well-argued op-eds and viral social media posts. We need direct engagement with pseudoscience in the journals themselves.
