Your email address privscy is much more important than people realize! Therefore, I'm a happy user of email aliases. I log in to each and every website with a new email alias, which is behind my personal domain name, forwarded to a secure mail provider. This means that I have emails that could look like this: facebook@xyz.com x@xyz.com amazon@xyz.com If a mail address is leaked, it's a single alias which I can easily block. Whenever I receive emails from Amazon not on my Amazon email alias, I'm 100% confident it's fake (or my email got leaked). Stay safe folks!

Your email address is like a password these days If it's publicly findable, it means you can easily be attacked with a phishing scam or 2FA hack Your email address especially for the highest security apps should be something like: t4qgp8rw5iuda10b@nonidentifiabledomainyouown.com Impossible to guess, like a password

@danielpnorris @storybookjs @chromaui The addon sends the stories to the cloud to snapshot across browsers in parallel. This provides a consistent browser environment to prevent false positives. Pricing is per snapshot similar to what's on Chromatic.

my brother founded a unicorn, ran it well for a long time, is an extremely accomplished investor, is terrible at all video games, and can only squat about 150 pounds. maybe "unicorn founder jack altman" would be a more reasonable way to introduce him?

@_hawko False. Twitter spends $13M/year on food service for SF HQ. Badge in records show peak occupancy was 25%, average occupancy below 10%. There are more people preparing breakfast than eating breakfast. They don’t even bother serving dinner, because there is no one in the building.

My progress over the years: Year 1: $0/month Year 2: $100/month Year 3: $200/month Year 4: $2,500/month Year 5: $6,000/month If you feel like you are progressing slowly, don't worry. Your progress won't be linear. Most people (and almost myself) give up in year 1 or 2.

@EmmaBostian Interesting thread. I've seen 100% test coverage used as a metric as a protection against regression but then seen it miss errors that a feature test would pick up. Feature testing should be the aim here to cover critical paths. If there is code left then ask "is it necessary?"

My personal opinion: Having 100% test coverage doesn't make your code more effective. Tests should add value but at some point being overly redundant and testing absolutely every line of code is ineffective. Ex) Testing that a component renders doesn't IN MY OPINION add value.
