@caseredoxlab Kind of still around but definitely spend less time than I used to. I still see the occasional good paper here but it does seem science twitter’s heyday is behind us.

Honest question: Are there any real scientists on Twitter anymore? Used to come here to get the latest papers, but now it seems more like a cesspool of anti-science rhetoric. Where did y'all go, and can I come along? 😄

P-hacking was one of the many pervasive issues in academia that bothered me frequently enough to appear in many of my cartoons. Industry is far from perfect but p-hacking is something I have not thought or worried about in the last 2.5 years. Significant (p<0.05) improvement.

The ultimate longevity hack? Run a sub 4 mile. New study looked at the first 200 sub 4 milers & found on average a longevity benefit of 4.7 years. For those competing in the 1950s, it was 9.2 years! Go train like a miler (and have their genetics...)
