@natkat_03 @RedBoulderPunch your comment was about the soft light which has nothing to do with them alternating practical with cgi since both are affected by that and brand new day also suffers from the soft light in those day time shots and the lack of contrast doesn't help at all

@danimat37 @RedBoulderPunch yeah but we literally see his face, we know they shot the real suit. cgi lighting wouldn’t stand out since u observe physical lighting and the subsequent cgi lighting that mimics it. if watts interspersed live action plates with the cgi (like raimi and ddc) then i’d complain less

You know, I never even really hated the old suits getting smoothed over so much in post. Like I thought it was dumb but it didn’t really affect me in any way
I don’t think I can go back after seeing them all side by side like this oh my god the BND suit is just on another level

and i'd say the day time shots definitely lack contrast

This scene is one of my favorite interpretations of the line, its subtle but picturing Peters expression under the mask affirming to MJ that through it all they support each other, you witness genuine growth in real time

However the could have color graded the regular day to be a bit more golden and less typical MCU tbh
