@CovfefeAnon @annakhachiyan Nature always resets to zero. We’re so wackadoodle out of balance right now the pendulum is bound to swing back with some force. But probably (hopefully) market force, not Mongol invasion.

@annakhachiyan >and the only way to fix it is to take it back by force but of course ain’t nobody want that C'mon - the reality is that that is the easiest and most natural thing in the world but every man knows exactly what he's putting on the line "Tee hee, just risk prison time for me"

My most feminist take is that while I 100% sympathize with men’s complaints about how annoying and retarded women are, it’s their fault the situation got so out of hand in the first place and the only way to fix it is to take it back by force but of course ain’t nobody want that

@SaladBarFan One of the biggest reasons foids are getting so out of pocket these days is because of how disconnected and clueless they've become about the male world of violence and how that violence is the only reason they have the cushy pampered lives they do

If every person I met on my recent trip to Los Angeles who told me they want to leave Los Angeles really did it, at once, the sudden shift in weight distribution might unleash a deadly seismic event. For their own safety, I urge these people to form a line & flee one at a time.

@Antweegonus “I work in academia, and almost all of my HR encounters are about…” Almost too perfect. (That he alarmed ignores the part about the coming crash of higher ed for the very real reasons Stepman points out is telling. Rent seeker’s dilemma with a touch of Stockholm Syndrome.)

Wasn't so long ago Charlie Wilson could tell the media (about his constituents), "they knew they were not electing a constipated monk to office." Today you get low-rent Swalwell hurling charges about Epstein on cable news before heading down to the congressional cellars for a tryst.

The purpose of this of course is not to check or curb the often confusing and explosive sexual tension that will naturally arise between men and women left to their own devices but to introduce a procedural cope for the fact that any such eroticism was already scrubbed from common life
DEEP LEFT@Dljokl

The practical result of MeToo is a sexual morality more radical, puritanical, and anti-human than anything the right-wing can imagine. It's Prohibition on alcohol, Prohibition on sex, no sex between neighbors or coworkers or rich and poor, tall or short, white and asian...

This article is ostensibly a takedown of a mediocre band, but it's actually an advertisement for the Professional Culture Industry to show that it's still firing on all cylinders and can make something out of nothing. As a marketing/PR product, this story is quite impressive.

burner accounts, trend simulation, manufactured discourse: music marketers are embracing new online tools to get ears on new music. is it just business as usual? and ARE Geese an industry plant? I investigate music's dirty little secret, for @WIRED . wired.com/story/geese-ch…

@curtis_yarvin Curious... wouldn't a similar cycle of civilizational decline occur regardless once/if it reaches a period of prosperity? Certainly accelerated by perverse incentives of the system in our case, but still...

We do have to live like this. It’s God’s punishment for our incredible, hilarious, arrogant and utterly ignorant belief that we have the best system of government in history. Like a beaten wife, conservatives never waver in the face of evidence. She has the best husband ever

🚨#BREAKING: The woman who was randomly shot in the face 6 times and st*bbed to de*th while she was walking her dog in Atlanta GA has been identified as 40-year-old Lauren Bullis. The suspect, “Olaolukitan Adon Abel” was also allegedly in the process of se*ually assaulting her before neighbors came to the scene. Olaolukitan is charged with 3 other "completely random" shootings and the de*th of another woman. We do not have to live like this.

@Delicious_Tacos Lol. Would seem that way. More likely our current moment will pass quicker than the rest. Email jobs going bye bye in 3.2.1 and with them most of the current university system. Mama gonna bring home the bacon and fry it up in the pan after a day testing circuit boards.

My point was not who benefits from technology, construction or ag, but who innovates in those fields. To purposefully disadvantage men in education and business in order to prop up women has negative effects. (And if you think women are maintaining the electric grid, look out your window the next time you have an outage. Dumbest take indeed)

@danjac01 @InezFeltscher Everyone benefits from these things & a small minority of women & men(myself included) maintain them. I’m assuming your not part of that group but feel included in it for some reason

Actually, the degrees men get are disproportionately (not exclusively) degrees that would pay for themselves without government subsidy. The promotions men get are actively discouraged by our civil rights regime for the last 40 years with the exception of the last year or so. People keep bringing up the voluntary traditional labor of wives at home as though my point isn’t exactly that the costs of having the wife at home are privately borne by the individual family, while the costs of the dual income family (like childcare) are offset in substantial part by the taxpayer and society at large. But there’s an easy way to find out which one of us is right: let’s enforce a ruthless meritocracy with no special benefits for women and find out!
🖤 Sophia 🖤@Richard_Vixen

Men get concrete subsidies for their “lifestyles” as well - government subsidies for degrees, encouragement towards career, notably unpaid domestic labor from wives - you just believe this is the natural order of things.

@annakhachiyan The right brain of history? I’ve never heard or read anyone knock Lena’s talent. I saw Tiny Furniture early and was impressed. But does an artist need to be mentally unwell to create? It clearly doesn’t hurt, but there are examples to the contrary too.
