Framer template sales are not related to quality. Its just all about visibility. That can be affected by quality. Or not always. Just some stats for you. Share yours for some remix etc ratio comparison. #buildinpublic

Most designers would never give away their best work for free. That’s exactly why I do it. Here’s the logic: A paid template reaches dozens of people. A free premium template reaches thousands. More users → more sites built on Framer → more affiliate revenue. But that only works if the template is genuinely good. If it’s mediocre, people download it and forget it. If it’s premium, people use it, keep it, recommend it. Free is not charity. Free is distribution. But only when the quality justifies attention. Most people undercharge because they undervalue. I give it away because I understand the math.
