@Joeinblack @FedEx I dread seeing that something has been shipped with @FedEx - I’ve had nothing but horrible experiences.

I’m dead serious when I send this warning out:
I can’t think of one company that should consider using @FedEx
Allow me to explain.
On December 11, I began a process with American trucks for tail lights for dad’s truck.
Those tail lights were to move from Pennsylvania to Flint Michigan.
I have spent a total of four hours on the phone with FedEx trying to get those tail lights so dad can drive his truck.
Today for the second time, after being instructed that I could go to their warehouse to pick up the parts, I arrive and go through the lengthy process of picking up the parts only to be told. I need to come back another day.
In this case on Monday.
Over a week ago, I ordered bumper parts, fog lights and end caps from carparts.com.
They have set in this warehouse after making an interesting trip all around the country.
I wasn’t able to pick those up today because they too were “buried in a truck”
Our Church ordered some rugs and for weeks now, they have set at this warehouse.
I don’t know how to express how frustrating this is.
I have scheduled numerous days around FedEx saying the parts would be here on such and such date only to find that they not only didn’t deliver them, they didn’t even leave the warehouse.
American trucks and carparts.com have all done a great job, until they handed it over to FedEx.
If you are a business owner, do not use FedEx under any circumstances.

@FrHilderbrand I’m so sorry, Father - may she rest in peace.

In a society on the ascent, everyone dresses up. Just look at pictures from the Gilded Age: out in the street, even in the poor areas, everyone is in a suit. They wanted to show they were bettering themselves, had dignity, etc.
But ours is a decadent society on the decline, so far from dressing up, everyone dresses like a slob, mimicking the worst among us so as to give the impression via sweatpants and oversized t-shirt that one is no better than his fellows. It's egalitarianism as applied to dress
Represent the hierarchy you want to see in the world; dress well, and encourage others to do likewise

JD Vance just delivered some of the most powerful words ever spoken about Charlie Kirk.
The crowd hung on every word as the Vice President unleashed a firestorm.
“Charlie suffered a terrible fate, my friends. We all know it. We all saw it, but think it is not the worst fate.”
“It is better to face a gunman than to live your life afraid to speak the truth.”
“It is better to be persecuted for your faith than to deny the kingship of Christ.”
“It is better to die a young man in this world than to sell your soul for an easy life with no purpose, no risk, no love, and no truth.”
Goosebumps.

Tucker Carlson shares a transformational lesson he learned from Charlie Kirk about hate.
The look on Tucker’s face spoke volumes. Not a single word was wasted.
“Charlie was really saying… the only change that matters when we repent of our sins. We, ME, a recognition that the real problem is me and how fallen I am.
“And that was the reason that Charlie was fearless at all times, truly fearless to his last moment. He was unafraid, he was not defensive, and there was no hate in his heart. I know that because I’ve got a little hate compartment in my heart.
“And I would often express that to Charlie about various people. And he would always say, always say, ‘That’s a sad person, that’s a broken person. That’s a person who needs help. That’s a person who needs Jesus.’ He said that in private because he meant it.”
