In Nordirland wurde ein Scheiterhaufen mit einem Boot von Einwanderern und einer riesigen Effigie einer palästinensischen Flagge errichtet. Die Iren haben genug.

Ireland just officially recognized the state of Palestine. Ireland joins Spain, Norway, Slovenia and over 140 other nations that have now formally acknowledged Palestinian statehood. The United States has not.

Arsenal can’t go into next season with a supposed controller 6 who can’t progress the ball, receive under pressure and dictate the tempo of a game. They need to go all out for Wharton or Elliot Anderson. Zubimendi will end up as a rotation piece, that’s the reality.

@FootballEra_ This idea that you know more than Arteta is laughable. Calling people “enemies” cos they disagree with you. Last week you wanted to bin Havertz.

Make no mistake, any Arsenal fan who supports the sale of Nwaneri and MLS just to blindly support whatever the manager does is an enemy of this club. MLS is one of the best young midfield talents in the world, a rare combination of ball carrying from deep to disrupt any kind of block, elite passing range from multiple zones and angles, press resistance, and a natural understanding of tempo. At a club that truly prioritizes his development, he has the potential to grow into one of the best midfielders in the world. Nwaneri is one of the most dangerous zone 14 shooters around, a blend of ball retention and output, with the potential to become world-class across multiple positions: SS, RW, and false 9. These are £100m-level talents casually produced by Hale End. It would be a huge mistake for Arsenal to let them go.

@FootballEra_ It’s almost as if Arteta sees these players train, up close, numerous times a week and makes an informed decision based on that.

With MLS at the club, Zubimendi shouldn’t be getting the volume of minutes he’s gotten this season. I still find it hard to believe MLS has gotten zero midfield minutes this season. This is one of the biggest case of gross underutilization and mismanagement of talent.

@FootballEra_ I agree with you on Gyokeres, I’ve been arguing the same points all season. But I think you’re jumping the gun on Havertz when you said he needs to go this summer.

I’m not even giving Gyokeres full credit for the goal, the bigger credit goes to Martinelli for the dribble, cut-in, and cross, and to Kai Havertz for his intelligent reading of space and finish. But it’s crazy how simply pointing out Gyokeres’ role in creating the space makes some accounts lose their heads, it happens every time.

Embarrassing. Absolutely embarrassing display. Everyone that played this match including Arteta need to cover their faces in shame except Dowman and Gyokeres. Absolutely disgraceful performance.

@talkSPORT Some achievement to be the worst “pundit” on Talk Sport considering Jamie O’ Hara also works for them but Gabby is not only a clueless hack looking for clicks, but also a cunt. The crown is his.

❌ "No apology!" 🤫 "They didn't even get to refuse to their school football team! I won't listen to people like that!" Agbonlahor fires back at #AFC fans who criticised him for wanting Gunners stars suspended for dropping out of their international squads! 🔥

The entire continent of Europe collectively screaming at Gabriel's antics and Arsenal fans sitting here asking if we "enjoy these stuff" — mate the whole world is watching and laughing at your club's systematic approach to cheating. You spent more than anyone on the planet last summer and STILL needed a diver in the box to get past Fulham. Gabriel makes Harry Kane look like Father Christmas. Meanwhile we're winning things with class while your manager gets suspended for punching emergency services. Peak Arsenal honestly 🍾

#NUFC were FORCED to sell Elliot Anderson for £35m. A year and a half later he is expected to fetch around £100m. Weve taken a £65m hit SO WE DON'T break the rules. Meanwhile actual rule breakers Chelsea win multiple PLs and cup, become a top 6 side with all the perks, £10m fine.

God I love getting a big snoot full of Bill Simmons. Where else will I hear someone wonder if the Coen brothers could have tackled the cinematic masterpiece Roadhouse.

@talkSPORT This is only a section of the chat but does Andy ever address how it was his beloved Man Utd who began the downfall of the FA cup by choosing not to enter it and instead entering the club World Cup?

@tommy_f6 @afcjxmes Baseball is a game of stoppages and breaks. It doesn’t translate over to football. Also stopping the clock will only inevitably lead to ad breaks mid game and the further Americanization of the sport

@afcjxmes Baseball had a time issue, so they put a timer where the next pitch had to be thrown before it hit zero. Stopping the clock won’t save anything, but I also fear a 5 second count down on throw ins will make them impossible. I’ve got to man mark for 5 seconds then it’s my throw? Ok

@eraseyourhed I'm not a Tarantino fan. I think people tend to like him because they think they'll get kicked out of the Cinephiles club if they don't. Once I stepped away, I saw his films through a new lens and found them juvenile. Plus, I don't like him as a person. I think he's a dick. 🤣

MOVIES I’VE NEVER SEEN #10 Jackie Brown (1997) Pam Grier, Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Keaton Tarantino’s slowest film, and his only adaptation. Some call it a masterpiece; others say it drags. Should I watch it? Convince me: YES or NO—and why.
