@kwadwosheldon @footfront_ Explanations have been given, and no one has presented any contradictory claim. So remember, mocking the government over something meant for our collective good doesn’t mean everyone will share that position. It’s unfortunate—but necessary.

There’s been a lot of noise—“dumsor is back,” “everything is collapsing.” But the spokesperson for the Energy Ministry was on Newsfile and laid out the facts—highlighting the progress made so far before explaining the real cause of the recent intermittent outages. Yet, that part is being ignored to push a doomsday narrative. Watch and decide for yourself. 👇🏾 #StayInformed

@ForVolta He said the transformers are being replaced and that’s the main cause, so I believe him. But since you claim that isn’t true, can you tell us what cause the government is supposedly hiding?

@MrIrish3 Between the President and a paramount chief, who is supposed to invite whom? But since you believe he wields that much power, maybe we should just sack the President from the country for refusing to honour his invitation—simple as that, right? Interesting logic.

I thanked the Wa Naa for the warm reception and assured them that their requests had been noted. I also thanked them for recognizing the works already being carried out and encouraged them to support the government to achieve its goals for the country.

The government has already acknowledged the power outages and explained the reasons through the ECG and the Energy Ministry, yet you’re portraying it as if they’re denying the situation and you’re exposing them. Even today, the Ministry’s PRO stated that it could last for up to three months—so what exactly are you trying to prove here?

@N33Sei Almighty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II is angry, and you’re using words like ‘visit’? No. They went there to kneel, beg, and cry. I even heard they pleaded with him not to expel them from Ghana, since he is the ‘owner’ of the country. Concert

Back in 2022, at the peak of galamsey destruction, this same man of God led a delegation to mining sites to pray and sing because the situation was clearly severe. Today, he is telling churches to stop river baptisms, claiming galamsey has made the water bodies too dangerous—as if the problem is now at its worst. That is the contradiction. If the crisis was severe enough then to warrant spiritual intervention, that was exactly when he should have cautioned against activities like river baptism. You can’t treat a problem as critical for optics in one moment and only later declare it dangerously severe to restrict others. Even more telling, there have been enforcement efforts and some visible improvements in recent months. So why the sudden alarm now? This isn’t consistency—it’s a selective stance that raises more political questions than moral ones.

@RAahiagbah The government says it is for maintenance, upgrades, and transformer replacements, which should be understood by all. However, since you claim that is not the case, kindly tell us what is causing it and what the alternative should be.

He claims he is the legitimate chief because Otumfuo has sworn him in and he holds documents he believes meet the requirements of the National House of Chiefs for gazetting. He therefore asked the court to compel the House to accept and process those documents. The court, however, ruled that the matter falls within the mandate of the National House of Chiefs and directed him to follow the appropriate process there. During that process, it was found that he did not meet certain requirements, leading to a pause. Despite this the Registrar—proceeded to gazette him. As a result, his legitimacy is not recognized in Sampa, hence his reliance on military and police protection when visiting. Notably, he has not challenged the legitimacy of the sitting chief in court, so there has been no judicial ruling on the substantive matter, nor any basis yet for contempt claims regarding security decisions. These are the facts, devoid of emotion and sentiment.

@dannyaslan124 @Hajjyass70 Masa masa, if the court didn’t confirm his legitimacy, then why did it tell the Bono house of chiefs to accept his documents and gazette the man as the recognized chief of Sampa ? Otumfour never had any preferred candidate. It was Nana Yaw who took the case to Manhyia and lost

The court, however, ruled that the matter falls within the mandate of the National House of Chiefs and directed him to follow the appropriate process there. During that process, it was found that he did not meet certain requirements, leading to a pause. Despite this, the Abesimhene—who rose under similar circumstances linked to the Asantehene and now serves as Registrar—proceeded to gazette him. As a result, his legitimacy is not recognized in Sampa, hence his reliance on military and police protection when visiting.
