DECLARATION OF INTENT TO CONTEST FOR THE POSITION OF NDC EASTERN REGIONAL COMMUNICATION OFFICER. I write with humility, conviction, and a deep sense of responsibility to formally declare my intention to contest for the position of Regional Communication Officer. This decision is born out of years of active engagement, careful observation, and sincere service. I have listened to the voices of party faithful, grassroots communicators, youth, women, and opinion leaders across the region. One message stands clear: our communication machinery must be stronger, more coordinated, more truthful, and more responsive to the realities on the ground. Communication is not just about speaking; it is about listening. It is not about propaganda; it is about credibility. It is not about attacking for applause; it is about projecting the party’s values, defending its record with facts, and shaping a compelling narrative that resonates with the people. As Regional Communication Officer, I seek to help reposition our communication strategy to be proactive rather than reactive, unified rather than fragmented, and people-centered rather than elite-focused. If given the mandate, my focus will be on: 1. Building a disciplined and coordinated regional communication team 2. Empowering constituency and branch communicators through training and inclusion 3. Promoting issue-based communication grounded in truth and party values 4. Defending the party with facts while maintaining decency and integrity 5. Ensuring that the voices of the grassroots are reflected in our messaging I believe the region deserves a communication office that is visible, accessible, strategic, and fearless, one that does not go silent in difficult moments and does not speak carelessly in sensitive times. Our communication must inspire confidence within the party and trust among the general public. This declaration of intent is not about personal ambition; it is about service. It is about offering experience, energy, and commitment to strengthen the party at the regional level and beyond.
