A darker side or underbelly to which the Chi-coms are extremely concerned about. That concern was also the primary reason they worked so hard to thwart a 2nd Trump Admin. in 2020… and again in 2024. That concern has gone to full throated panic in private… it also has Xi’s Communist party hardliners & Military Command foaming at the jowls… No, the US isn’t afraid but they also aren’t the Communist’s lackeys… where the Soviets tried to use the threat of military force & action. The Chinese of Xi have attempted to diversify their power… which was predominantly economic & also ramped up their military capabilities as they continue their race to expand their Navy & their military global reach. The Chinese are finding they are increasingly vulnerable and being shoved back… They aren’t happy about tariffs… they aren’t happy with a growing Japanese military. They aren’t happy with US trade deals with their neighbors and those deals take what had been Chinese economic success and shift them to others who can manufacture just as well… that kind of economic siphoning from China to Vietnam… is what led to a falling out of sorts between those two countries… No the US isn’t going to provoke but we sure as heck are going to kneel… not by a country mile…
