no doubt. Will be doing a deep dive on that tonight.

@SamOlbur This isn’t like the 2018/19 and 2023/24 brewers. This team is actually better than the cubs talent wise and their usually fundamental play. We don’t even have the talent advantage anymore. All their pitchers are dogs. All 13. And deep in AAA.

@MatthewMKE98 And will still lose to the Dodgers, one thing I know about the Brewers, they are completly useless come playoff time, a shame the Cubs can’t hire a competent president so baseball fans can be saved from watching the Brewers flameout in the playoffs

The Brewers have the 2nd best WRC+ with RISP and 4th best with runners on While employing Luis Rengifo and David Hamilton Just wait till we get Jett Williams or a 3B at the deadline We’re gonna look like the 2001 Mariners Good luck MLB 😭😭😭

@BNightengale Until the Cubs fire Hoyer nothing will change, Hoyer can’t put together a team to beat the small market Brewers since he became president, has anyone ever been so embarrassingly incompetent at their job when factoring in the massive financial advantage the cubs have

The Brewers, with an emphatic sweep of the Cubs at Wrigley Field, by a combined score of 19-5, served a subtle reminder that the NL Central title goes through Milwaukee. The Brewers, winners of 5 of the last 7 full-season NL Central titles, and 3 in a row, are still a beast.

@Cubber4415 When your president is a clown who can’t build a mlb team without Theo, it makes sense..sucked with the Padres, can’t beat the brewers despite having a 100 million plus payroll advantage..it’s Hoyer, get rid of him and bring in new energy and a winner

Amazing how the Brewers get Trevor Megill, who had a 8 ERA on the #Cubs, and turn him into an all-star. Meanwhile, the Cubs spend $5M+ on Kimbrel, Neris, Pressley, and Maton - lmao.

Do the Cubs have a ton of injuries? I know maybe a couple SP’s but that roster is not good. I don’t get the hype around that team.

This regime has never won the central. Everything they say about "it's just one of those stretches" has no merit because they've never proven they can beat this team over 162. Never.

All 3 games were not competitive at all. In your own ballpark. The Brewers own Craig Counsell’s Cubs.

@jon_greenberg Cubs have a $100M advantage every year in a division of small market teams. Dodgers of the division. Cubs should win division easily every year. Why dont they?

Has a team ever had two 10-game win streaks and been in third place on May 20? That’s the Cubs’ reality right now. My column from Wrigley: nytimes.com/athletic/72935…

One of these days the *Chicago* Cubs have to be able to field a better baseball team than the *Milwaukee* Brewers, right? Going on a decade straight of it not happening.

The Milwaukee Brewers were in last place in the NL Central two weeks ago. The Chicago Cubs were completing their second 10-game winning streak and in 1st. And today? The Brewers are sitting in first place after beating the Cubs again, 5-2. The Cubs have lost 8 of the last 10.

The cubs for the 5th year in a row have gotten outclassed by Milwaukee. You think after playing them so much and losing to them.. in the off season.. we’d try to build a team like them!

The brewers are better than the cubs right now.. The guys on there last yrs aren’t giving this club any reason to keep them. To many injury prone players and too much swing and miss. Calling a spade a spade.. this teams not as good as it’s record. Losing Horton has hurt this team
