List of players who went for more than Garnacho this summer: •Mateus Fernandes •Omari Hutchinson •Tyler Dibbling •Jacob Ramsey •Dango Ouattara •João Félix •Gittens •Madueke •Elanga Liverpool got £35m for a Quansah with four PL starts last season. Nkunku was only a few million less and on crazy wages. I don’t care if Garnacho was in the bomb squad, we could’ve easily got £50m. Chelsea spent £55m on Gittens (worse) and sold Madueke for £52m. We’ve been mugged off. He’s had the most G/A of any player 21 or under (apart from Yamal) across the last two seasons, doing it in an unsustainable side. £40m for a talent with that potential is a joke. If he was a Chelsea player in their bomb squad, we’d have paid £70m for him. Underrated online, big talent — and if Amorim gets sacked for a manager who likes direct wingers and he thrives at Chelsea, we’ll look ridiculous.
