.@KirkHerbstreit, good morning, I know there is a lot going on during the NFL Draft broadcast with numerous moving parts, people talking, crowd noise, producers perhaps talking into your IFB/ear piece...but any specific reason you mentioned Big Ten with 10 1st-Round Picks, SEC (7), ACC (6), but didn't mention the @Big12Conference and them also have (6) 1st-Round Picks?

@deelotweets @KirkHerbstreit That's kind of funny, kind of like Nebraska football ineptness over the last 15-years and believe me, that hurts since I was born in Omaha, lifelong 'Huskers fan...maybe Big Ten would've had 10+ 1st-Round picks if Nebraska was better and again, that pains me to say it.

My dad is 75 and lives in Iowa. He got the MLB Extra Innings package to watch the Tigers again this year - something he plans his whole day around. Tonight, Detroit (664 miles from his house) hosted Milwaukee (360 miles from his house). Couldn't watch. Blacked out. (1/2)

@amuse @IsabellaMDeLuca When grocery shoppers change their mind about an item in their cart some will put it at the spot where they changed their mind. If someone does this with a package of pork chops and places it on the halal meat, the meat is no longer halal.

@DelTaco This morning I received an email that offered a $5 off coupon for completing a 15 min survey. I completed the survey then the final screen didn't display the QR code for the coupon. Also, the email has fine print that the $5 off coupon is actually $2 off. See screenshots

@seanmdav Bulls were getting rid of Ivey anyway. He only played in 4 games this year and they would have to make a restricted offer in eight figures to keep him from being free agent. He wasn’t going to play anymore this year anyway.

The conduct they are claiming is detrimental is Christianity. They fired Jaden Ivey for being Christian. Worth noting the Bulls didn’t fire Ronnie Brewer after he was arrested for DUI. Or Joakim Noah after he was arrested for possession of drugs. When Jameson Curry was arrested for public urination and then resisted arrest, the Bulls suspended him for one game, but also refused to fire him for his conduct. Christianity is apparently where the Chicago Bulls draw the line.

The NFL has offered its game officials a six-year labor deal with a 6.45% annual growth rate in compensation, while the NFLRA is insisting on 10% plus $2.5 million for marketing fees the league regards as worthless, sources say. The union also continues to resist changes the NFL is insisting upon, including shortening the “dark period” after the Super Bowl, deploying underperforming officials to spring leagues for extra reps and ending a seniority-based system for playoff assignments. “We want to pay for performance,” source said.

The NFL plans to begin hiring replacement officials before the May 31 expiration of its labor deal and deploy them in training camps to have them ready if no agreement is struck with the NFLRA. As one source said today: “Our direction (from owners) is not to be unprepared.”
