@nicoletellsit You’re doing nothing wrong. In a group of 10 parents: if every parent, including you, goes out only once per month, you are comparing your one outing to 9 other outings. A ratio of 1:9 makes it feel like we are way less-than. But it’s not real.

I find it so difficult to maintain a social life since becoming a mom. I’m just tired all the time. And people aren’t super flexible. I certainly am not due to the baby…it seems like everyone else manages to socialize all the time though, even with kids. What am I doing wrong?

@visakanv A message to my pre-dad self: Appreciate just how much time you have that you can waste now. Then after baby comes: Trust your instincts. Remember you and your wife are a team. Take turns getting a full nights sleep. If you don’t love baby right away it’s ok, it grows on the way.
