Today, while I was watching the sun set over the NYC skyline from East River Park, Trey and Sue walked right by me, holding hands and deep in conversation.

Biggest takeaways for me from last night’s Derek Trucks sit in: 1) The combo of Derek with Page, Mike and Fish sounded incredible. Just a reminder of how good at jamming the non-Trey members of Phish are. 2) I miss the Allman Bros

Trey Anastasio and Derek Trucks are not only two of the great guitarists of all time, but they also have two of the most unique tones. It is amazing how well they are playing with each other tonight at the Phish show at SPAC.
