I like Dave, and there was a time that I'd read WON religiously until the slant became too much. I still listen to his radio shows here and there, but I don't get it. Why risk your rep and decades of hard work to shill so hard for one promotion. And before anyone says "well he's hard on AEW too", send some examples because from everything I've seen, the tone is very different between WWE and AEW. You don't see Dave spending a day a week on this app defending WWE like he's a majority stakeholder in the company (and I don't think he's getting paid by AEW obviously). I just don't get it.

With a conservative model (factoring in no new intl deals and we've already seen a new one yesterday) and no additional TV deals, AEW next year will be more profitable than the entirety of WCW's 13 years combined, then WWF from 1990-98 combined, and WWE every year from 2011 to 2017.

Of course they were successful because they were reinvesting profits to setup for the future and look how it exploded. AEW, as a young company, has been investing for this very moment

They are cold. Ticket sales don't lie. If you can't admit that it's you're ignoring numbers. But as a business, they are a success.
