You'd really think it should be pretty easy for @cloudflare to not populate DNS records with their own proxy records when moving domains between Cloudflare accounts and importing the zonefile export... Instead have to delete all the proxy records every. damn. time. >.>

Brexit was delivered in both name and fact: we left the EU. Anything and everything done since - and, surely, this was the central argument for Brexit? - is the decision of the sovereign British parliament. The 2016 17.4M don't have a permanent stranglehold on post-Brexit policy.

I am not really sure why I'm trending on X but it appears some folk don't like being reminded that 17.4million people voted for Brexit and would quite like to see it delivered in more than name. Is that so hard to hear?

@mneylon The three accredited EBERO's are CIRA, CNNIC, and Nominet. Assigning Desi registrations to the British or Chinese would be entertaining. The smart money is on CIRA.

The .desi domain extension (TLD) has failed.
ICANN is now stepping in + moving it into the emergency failure system.
Less than 1000 domains impacted. Unclear how many of those are really active

@splashweb @Nominet I'm all for holding them to account, but they're doing this because members wanted them to spend the surplus on things which actually impact our industry... like supporting open source software! This is an improvement.

Have reported cloned website to @Nominet with a request to close it down. Apart from making me look like a terrible writer, as a children's author it concerns me that I have no control over what else is being posted on there in my name. #cloned

1, NOT stating a deadline (8th Sept) for paying bills to maximise votes, encouraging we do so, and then changing the date to calculate votes to 1st Sept.
This breeds distrust, disenfranchisement and disengagement. The exact opposite of what we need.

@kierenmccarthy @cipnt I am not detracting from the positive change. It is very welcome. But DESPITE the new CEO, CTO, Board etc we are still seeing the same type of issues again and again. That's the point, something is still very broken with how *new* decisions are being made.

@dansgalaxy @cipnt This argument would make more sense to me if we were talking about the protection of high level human, civil or moral rights. I’m not convinced the voting process for an internet register operator rises to that level
