NEWS: Joshua Dent is staying at Saint Mary's, he told DraftExpress. The First-Team All-WCC point guard will return for his junior season, a major win for first-year head coach Mickey McConnell. "Playing under Mickey was an opportunity I couldn't pass up," Dent said.

NEWS: Saint Mary’s is expected to promote associate head coach Mickey McConnell to head coach following Randy Bennett's departure for Arizona State, sources told me and @PeteThamel. McConnell played for Bennett from 2007-11 and has been on the Gaels’ coaching staff since 2019.
